Due to the excessive rain, the middle school cross-country meet has been canceled for today. No practice.
Due to soggy conditions at Prophet Hills Country Club, the Middle School Cross Country meet that was scheduled for today has been canceled. They will practice today after school.
Because of excessive rain this morning, the PLT Middle School cross country meet at Prophet Hills Country Club has been postponed until Tuesday, September 22nd.
They will practice today at the normal time and place.

Reminder - tonight's EP Fresh/Soph Football game will be played in Erie.
The EP Co-Op Board of Control meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, September 16 at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the media center at Erie High School.
The EP Co-Op Board of Control meeting that was scheduled for this evening (Sept. 9) has been POSTPONED. We are working on a reschedule date and will post it as soon as it is decided.
Due to extreme heat conditions expected today, the middle school cross-country meet scheduled for today at Geneseo has been CANCELLED. The safety and well-being of our athletes is always our top priority. With the forecasted temperatures and heat conditions, we feel this is the safest decision for our players, coaches, officials, and families.

Friday Night Football Update
This Friday's varsity football game will be played at Erie High School instead of Prophetstown. We appreciate everyone's flexibility and look forward to seeing our Panther fans in Erie Friday night!!!
Please plan to attend the JFL Equipment handout on August 2nd. If you are unable to attend, please get in touch with the coaches to make arrangements. A current sports physical is required before practice may begin. $40 sports fee is due before the first game, but can be paid to Jodi at the equipment handout.

PLT District 3 Schools will start 2 hours late tomorrow - Tuesday, March 17 as blowing and drifting snow continues to impact our road conditions. No AM PreK.
Due to the forecasted weather, there will be NO SCHOOL for all District PLT #3 schools tomorrow, Monday, March 16.
Spring in Illinois is unpredictable—and while we’ve enjoyed some nice days, the forecast for Sunday night into Monday is a reminder that we are not yet out of “winter.” While we are currently planning on a regular attendance day on Monday, should the weather make a delay or cancellation necessary - we will communicate through the district website, Facebook, email, text, phone call, and local news channels.

Prophetstown families:
We wanted to let everyone know that this afternoon, there was an accident involving one of our school buses. Students were on the bus being transported at the time of the accident. District officials promptly contacted EMS and law enforcement to respond. All students were assessed and no serious injuries were reported. Four individuals were transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
The incident remains under investigation, and the District is fully cooperating with law enforcement as we work to gather all facts. District policies are being implemented as part of the investigation.
We are grateful that no serious injuries occurred and all parents have been notified. We appreciate all of the first responders who assisted at the scene.
