'Tis the season for Mrs. Fordham's 2nd graders to get their hands dirty and work on the front garden area. We just love how these students are applying some grit toward not just beautification of the campus, but also their knowledge of plants and seasons.

Setting and reaching goals is what the most successful students and individuals do, and this POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRAL goes to Liam for modeling just that. His goal wasn't easy, either, and he met his year end i-Ready goal in March... WOW! Way to go, Liam, and keep up the rigorous goal setting!

Due to the impending next round of storms, we will dismiss one hour early today, April 4th.
Due to phone issues at TES, please call 815-438-5010 to reach the TES office.
Thank you for your understanding. Please stay alert and safe this evening.

Due to the current storms and upcoming weather today April 4, 2023:
There will be no afternoon PreK
Morning PreK will be late getting home as we are still sheltered in place
WACC will not be going to Sterling
PreK program today is cancelled

Students and staff are sheltered inside all buildings. Please stay inside and stay safe until the weather passes through.

We are still working on our phone issues. We do have a working line that does not have voicemail. That number is 815-438-5010. Because of no voicemail, and call volume can be high at times, please consider emailing your message if you cannot get through to sschwartz@plt3.org or jgeer@plt3.org.

TES has an opening for a school nurse. Interested candidates with RN or LPN credentials may follow the link to apply: https://www.applitrack.com/roe47/onlineapp/JobPostings/view.asp?FromAdmin=true&AppliTrackJobId=3927

We've got another POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRAL for caring. Mrs. Rico has recognized Tyson for helping a friend after a recess accident, making sure she was okay and helping her to the nurse's office. At TES, we feel caring is one of the most important characteristics one can have.

We have another leader by example who earned a POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRAL! Mrs. Rico recognized London for the great citizenship demonstrated when London, without asking, put away play equipment at the end of recess, even though she wasn't playing with them. Way to go, London!

Woot, woot for Everett! Mrs. Lawson gave Everett a POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRAL for helping a peer who was struggling in math without being asked. Way to help make TES a better place!

Way to go, Carmen! She was recognized by Mrs. Fordham with a POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRAL for consistently being a positive role model for kindness and respect, and always being willing to lend a helping hand. 👏🏼

Hip, hip, hooray for Sawyer! He was recognized by Ms. Gieson for his silent leadership skills. He's always lending a hand when he notices anyone struggling, and he gets the door for his teacher, too! Kudos, Sawyer!
P.S. Bonus picture with Mom since she was here subbing
