Dear PLT Families, I am continuing to monitor weather updates issued by the National Weather Service. There is a chance of continued poor weather conditions that may impact us tomorrow morning. If we are able to start at regular time in the morning, we will continue with our half day student dismissal. If we need to delay the start of school, we would cancel the scheduled early out and have students in school until regular (full day) dismissal time. In review: If we start at 8:00/8:20 - students dismissed at 11:30/11:50 If we start at 10:00/10:20 - students dismissed at 3:00/3:20 I appreciate your understanding as we navigate the Midwest weather conditions that have been thrown at us this month. With our first potential winter storm arriving, make sure you know where to find the latest school closing information: 1. The District website www.plt3.org 2. The PLT #3 District Facebook page 3. Tuning in to local news channels (4, 6, 8) 4. Push notification through our district app (Search PLT 3 on your app store and enable push notifications) 5. Email/Text/Phone call notification (The text/phone notification is handled through a new online system this year. Please make sure to use a backup source for information - in the event you do not receive an automated call or text message. ) We prioritize the safety of our students and staff and will provide timely updates regarding any changes to the school's operating hours or closures due to inclement weather.

Zero. That is the number of days Dez was not kind, helpful, or empathetic toward her peers this year. Recognized by Ms. Mewhirter for outstanding effort this entire year, she was certainly a wonderful addition to the TES family. Way to go, and a great one to end this year's POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRALS.

Shout out to Xzoiey! She was recognized by Mrs. Franks with a POSITIVE OFFICE REFERRAL for going absolutely bonkers above and beyond for the Wax Museum project. She took on learning some sign language for her Helen Keller role, including practicing while walking the track at PE. Way to demonstrate great attitude and effort!
