The P-L-T Education Foundation was formed in 1990. The original board members established as their mission to accept donations and to distribute funds to projects that would enrich the educational experience of students in the Unit District. Since the Foundation's inception, it has awarded over $168,000 in grants and scholarships. Contributions to the Foundation can be made to the General Fund which is spent on an annual basis, or to the Endowment Fund, which is invested to produce income that is spent annually. Administrative costs are minimal due to our volunteer Board of Directors. A tax-deductable contribution to the P-L-T Education Foundation is a gift to our whole community, and especially our children. Please consider donating to the Foundation today. |

Every child in the P-L-T School District is benefiting from the materials provided by the Education Foundation. The types of projects that have been funded have included the art and music programs, scholarships, technology, field trips, and mini-grants for teachers.
