2.  You will need to complete the "Black History Month" Worksheet or Inspiration outline and. Here are some questions that you might look up to help you get started. 

1.  What was this person’s occupation?

2.  What was this person’s greatest achievement?

3.  You may choose one of these famous African-Americans, or research another person after you have had your idea approved by your teacher.

4.  Use the plan you made on the "Black History Month" Worksheet or Inspiration outline to create a PowerPoint project.  Click here if you need help putting graphics into your project.

5.  Use the checklist and Rubric to check your work.

 

TIP:

·       Keep track of the website addresses you used to research your famous person.  You need to include them on the last page of your PowerPoint. (Use Inspiration)

5.  After you have finished your PowerPoint presentation, make 4 Trivial Pursuit slides.

·       Use the categories above.  (Sports, Science & Inventors, Educators & Authors, Entertainers, Community or Civil Rights Leaders)

·       Write 4 questions about the person you learned about.  Put 4 choices for each question.  The answer must be in your slideshow.
