The structure of the school built in the 1950 arena is in very good condition providing  proactive maintenance addressing needs is continued.  Construction of a new roof on the elementary classrooms is planned for the spring-summer of 2007.  Bid package preparation and awarding is planned for September/October of 2006.  Difficulties exist in the crowding of classes in the facility.  One portable classroom is currently in use at this facility, discontinuing use of the portable as a permanent classroom is desired.  The building library and music room are both housed in the basement.  These facilities are extremely difficult for handicap use and are extremely warm due to their proximity to the building heating plant.
